Perhaps I need a welding cap under it but this is the only problem I've had. This is a great welding helmet for anyone looking to purchase an auto-darkening helmet without breaking the bank. Still, I'm very satisfied with my purchase. This is the only helmet I own so I can't compare it to a more expensive model. The darkening factor and speed are adjustable and adjustment is easy. My only complaint is that the headgear seems to slip when I'm wearing it unless I adjust it very tight.
He says this should be the only helmet sold for this purpose - it is that good. when it arrived. He had seen a friend's and was curious about it.we decided to order and it was a hit.
It's not.It works great with my little MIG set up (even though the amperage of my MIG is below the range in the chart found in the instructions). Before I was living in the dark. I thought the sun would set it off. This helmet has MUCH improved my work. Oh man.A great value for $40. I tried at all settings. Why is this important.
The order for the welder has been cancelled and no substitute was offered so I requested that Amazon credit my account for this item and have a call tag issued so I may return it. I have not been able to use this product since the welder that I ordered at the same time is not going to ship.
this helmet works great the only complaint I have is the window is very small but besides that the helmet is well worth the money
